We are looking forward to a fun and festive day at Glenwood School on Friday, October 30! We know many of our students are already thinking about their Halloween costumes, so we wanted to share our costume guidelines ahead of time to help families plan accordingly.
Students are welcome to wear costumes to school, and we encourage creativity, imagination, and school spirit! Because we serve students from preschool through 12th grade, we ask that all costumes be school-appropriate and suitable for all ages. Please review the accompanying graphic for our costume expectations.
A quick note for families: Costume-wearing expectations may vary by grade level, including how long students will be able to remain in their costumes throughout the school day. Some students may need to bring a change of clothes for regular classroom activities. Teachers will communicate any grade-specific expectations with families ahead of time so everyone can plan accordingly. We appreciate your help in making the day fun, comfortable, and enjoyable for all!
We will kick off our celebration with a costume parade, followed by a short schoolwide gathering featuring some fun costume recognitions! We'll celebrate creativity, originality, and the wonderful spirit of our Glenwood Eagles.
We will also take a moment to recognize our cross country team as they prepare to head to districts, along with a special shout-out to our middle school and high school volleyball players for their hard work, dedication, and teamwork throughout the season!
It's a wonderful opportunity to bring our school together, celebrate our students, and have a little fun along the way! Our goal is simple: a fun, festive, and welcoming celebration where every Eagle feels included!
